In other news, I'm leaving for a convention tomorrow, and I spent five hours yesterday playing Smash Brawl.  Because I am a responsible businesswoman.

My Skip Beat! vol. 11 shipped today, yay yay yay!  *dances*  Maybe I will have it by Saturday?  MAYBE.

In other news, once again Netflix shipped my next two DVDs instead of Wallflower, so I won't have it for this weekend.  Sadness.  Hopefully for next.

Firstly - Argent as the Balladeer of Love = WIN.  I heart Argent so much.  I think vol. 3 calls for a third set of iconing.

Book 24, almost to the halfway mark!  And...it's October.  XD  It was The Martian Chronicles, by Ray Bradbury.  I've been reading a lot of fantasy and mainstream lately, so I thought it was time I went back to my roots and delved into my favorite genre - sci-fi!  Ray Bradbury has an almost poetic style, which can make him hard to read - most sci-fi ( Read more... )

First off, everyone EVER should read Apothecarius Argentum.  I just read vol. 2 and it made me laugh AND cry AND squee.  The artwork is simple and beautiful and the characters are realistic.  I can't believe there's only one more volume.  I can't believe this isn't more popular!  It deserves so much more.  Prepare yourselves for icons, probably ( Read more... )

So, I got the first volume of Apothecarius Argentum and I really love it.  Argent is a total pushover and such a sweetie.  XD  I added this title to my interests in my LJ profile and apparently I am the only one in the 13 million+ LJs who lists it.  :C  This manga deserves more attention!  It's about an apothecary.  Come on, you know that's awesome ( Read more... )
